Founded by Tony, a seasoned Toolmaker with over 20 years of hands-on engineering experience, NexGen NZ was born from a passion for innovation and creativity. After shoulder surgery required time away from the workshop, Tony turned to 3D printing as a way to stay mentally engaged. What started as a hobby quickly evolved into a thriving business built on precision, problem-solving, and a love of design.

Equipped with industry-leading tools like Autodesk Fusion 360, NexGen NZ offers high-quality 3D modeling and prototyping services for automotive, engineering, and custom applications. Whether you're developing a new product or need a one-off solution, we can help bring your ideas to life.

With over 100 different types and colours of filament in stock, we're confident we can match your vision—whether it’s a functional part, decorative object, or custom gift.

We also use HueForge, an advanced image-to-3D conversion software, allowing us to transform your favorite photos—pets, weddings, family portraits, and more—into unique, multi-colored 3D printed displays that make unforgettable keepsakes.
